Strand on the Green Junior School Vihara Visit

Nikola on the Vihara Visit

Wednesday 27th February 2008

Dear Venerable Seelawimala,

I am writing to you to thank you for letting us visit the Vihara. I had a great time at the Vihara. I learnt a lot. Firstly, I really liked the statues a lot. I learnt that the Theras are very important in the world. I was amazed to see the beautiful statues and they really show the meaning of Buddhism.

Thank you very much for your spare time so we could visit the Vihara.

Wednesday 27th February 2008

Dear Venerable Seelawimala,

I am writing to you because I had a fun time in the Vihara especially when we meditated. I was amazed to see the Buddha. It was made out of gold. I like the Bodhi Tree. It looked great. The Vihara is a great place to be in as well, I learnt lots of things.

Thank you for the trip in the Vihara.

Cheyanne on the Vihara Visit

Wednesday 27th February 2008

Dear Venerable Seelawimala,

I am writing to you to thank you for teaching me and telling me more about Buddhism and Prince Siddhartha. I had lots of fun especially meditating, looking around and taking photos. I learnt that Buddhism is a very important religion. I was able to see lots of lovely statues and like the really old books and more. I say thank you again for more information about Buddhism. It was hard walking from Strand to Turnham Green but I managed to make it to the Vihara.

Eleanor Pike on the Vihara Visit

Wednesday 27th February 2008

Dear Venerable Seelawimala,

The purpose of this letter is to say thank you. I enjoyed my visit very much. My favourite part was meditating. I found it very peaceful. I like to try it before bed. I also liked the story you told. It had more detail than in the books. I liked the story about the man with the teeth-necklace best.

Thank you
From Eleanor Pike

Naqib on the Vihara Visit

Wednesday 27th February 2008

Dear Venerable Seelawimala,

I am writing to tell you that I really enjoyed learning about the Buddha. I had so much fun listening to the story about the Buddha. Firstly, I want to say a big thank you for letting us come. I learnt that Prince Siddhartha was not known as a god. I was amazed to see all the statues and a real Bodhi Tree.
